At Intersolar Europe 2026, Chinese suppliers continued to lead key industry trends. In the large capacity cell segment, the industry continued its transition toward higher capacity platforms, with 587/588 Ah remaining the leading third-generation cell formats, while 648 Ah cells also continued to attract strong market interest. At the system level, with capacity and compliance considered in parallel, 10-foot containers became the preferred lightweight solution for meeting weight restrictions. Product offerings in the C&I storage segment continued to expand, while residential energy storage systems (ESS) evolved beyond backup power applications toward broader use.
